If you are ever in The City of Seven Hills and you want a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle, Ault Park is where you need to go. After a long day of exploring Cincinnati, it was a beautiful thing to come to a place where your mind could go free. Observatory Avenue will lead you straight to the core of the nearly 224 acre park.

Upon arrival, I not only found my self immediately beginning to relax but also enjoying the small things in life. A breath of crisp Autumn air filled my lungs with happiness. The small murmurs of the flowing water sang soft melodies.

A woman and her fun loving dog were getting their picture taken near the central water feature. A family, on the other side of the pavilion were all clad in black button downs and jeans for a picture that they will remember forever. However, what really caught my attention was the stretch limousine that chauffeured the Bride and Groom. Surely this spot had some significance to them. To me, the large expanse of greenery begged for the imprints of shoes. Guys, show your girl your soft side, have an evening picnic during Autumn, the colored leaves will only had to her natural beauty. Ladies, surprise your guy, gather his friends and head out to Ault Park for a game of football, wiffle ball, or Frisbee.

10/10

And this song of the vine,
This greeting of mine,
The wings and the birds shall deliver.
To the Queen of the west,
In her garlands dressed,
On the banks of the beautiful river.

I have a crush on over-the-rhine, all the moms in the world tell me not to go there but I still get to stare at it out the window of the bus
